How Tuven fits together

Understand the current network, its Arc foundation, and its Layer 2 direction.

Tuven is building toward the vision of the world’s first Layer 2 on Arc: a network for stablecoin payments, open markets, and the machine economy. The current implementation is an independent chain derived from the Arc node stack.

Execution and consensus

Reth provides the EVM execution foundation: accounts, contract execution, transaction receipts, and familiar Ethereum JSON-RPC interfaces. Malachite provides BFT consensus for ordering blocks. Tuven uses its own network configuration, native asset, validator infrastructure, and public endpoints.

Native financial primitives

USDX is the native gas asset and has an ERC-20 interface for token-based applications. Genesis predeploys include Multicall3, the sponsorship registry, and Uniswap V2 factory and router contracts. The launchpad creates bonding-curve markets that can graduate into V2 liquidity pools.

The application layer

The Tuven app provides swaps, portfolio views, and supported bridge flows. The launchpad is a separate application for creating and trading new tokens. The custom explorer reads indexed blocks, transactions, token activity, and verified contract source from Blockscout.

Physical AI and the machine economy

Tuven’s application vision extends to robotics, autonomous systems, connected devices, AI agents, and decentralized physical infrastructure. These applications can use shared identity, payment, and data records to coordinate work across people and machines.

A physical-data application can collect sensor observations, annotate force or motion, verify records, settle contributor payments, and make useful datasets available to other applications. These are application building blocks and intended use cases; they do not imply that every data market or verification service is already deployed.

Trust and administrative controls

The current infrastructure configuration uses a validator with read-only follow nodes. It is not a permissionless validator network. Privileged protocol roles can control asset policy, sponsorship, and network administration; the chain-admin mechanism can modify execution state. Some application contracts are pausable, and the LP vault is upgradeable. These controls are part of the network’s present trust assumptions.
